J's Creamy Garlic Pasta

This pasta is a combination of everything delicious. Penne pasta in a garlic herb cream sauce.

Ingredients
  • 1 Pound penne pasta
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons marsala wine
  • 2 Cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Cup grated parmesan
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 Teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 Teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Wash your herbs and prep your ingredients.

  2. Cook pasta according to the directions on the box.

Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce
  1. In a medium-sized pot, melt your butter on medium-low heat.

  2. Add your minced garlic and let it sweat for around 5 minutes. We don't want the garlic to brown, just to become nice and gragrant.

  3. Add the marsala wine to your garlic and butter and let that sweat for another 5 minutes.

  4. Add the rest of your ingredients and whisk until it's nice and smooth. Let this simmer until it's thick and creamy, about 10 minutes.

  5. Drain the penne and add to the sauce. Stir and serve!
