What if I told you there was a way to give back while you shop? I know it sounds too good to be true, but there’s a chrome extension that does just that! Say hello to Altruisto! This is my Altruisto review.
What is Altruitso?
Altruisto is a Chrome web browser extension that helps you donate while you shop! Altruisto, a non-profit, has partnered up with over 1,000 brands to donate a portion of sales (2-6%) to trusted charities.

So glad you asked! Altruisto sends the money to a few charities:
- Against Malaria Foundation
- Schistosomiasis Control Initiative
- Give Directly
- Anima International

How do I use Altruisto?
After downloading the Altruisto chrome extension, you can do that by clicking here, go to one of their partnered stores. As you browse the internet, Altruisto will let you know if you’re currently on a partner website and ask if you would like to activate donation. If you’re looking to make a purchase, click “Activate donation”. That’s it! If you head to your dashboard, you’ll be able to see how much money has been donated because of you! Pretty neat right?
