Summer is here, and we all know what that means… BIKINI SEASON!
If you’re like me, you’re a tad bit bikini crazed. I have more bikinis than I can count off the top of my head, but I continue to buy new ones every year. Most of mine are from Target, so it’s not too bad, but shopping for bikinis can be so expensive! $60 for one bikini? Yeah, no thanks! Five for $60? Now you’re speaking my language! This is why, when I came across a site called Zaful, I had to check it out and see what it was all about.
Before I get into the bikinis, let me tell you about my experience with the website. I found it really easy to use; however, I was totally overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of items they have. Options are good, but sometimes 40+ pages are too many. I thought that I would have to wait for months for my items to arrive because they ship from China, but I only had to wait for 2-3 weeks! They shipped in two batches; The first one arriving two weeks after I ordered them and the other at three weeks.
I’ll start with this bikini since it was the first one I saw on the website. I like it, but you’ll definitely become a part of the #SunsOutBunsOut club.
Let’s talk about the pros first:
- The color is nice
- Shape
- Bikini is lined on the inside
- It feels more like a sports bra than a bikini top, so it’s really comfortable.
- Removable pads
- Adjustable ties on the bottoms
The cons:
- The pad inserts are so weird.
- The “tie” detail doesn’t sit well.
- Size small top was too big.
- Bottoms are incredibly small.
- Tie on the bottom isn’t sewn on all the way.
- The fabric is really thin.
Moving on to bikini #2. This is one of my favorites! I have worn this top so many times! I love everything about it! #SunsOutBunsOut Club certified.
The pros:
- The color
- Fit
- Size
- Removable pad inserts
- Pad inserts are a normal shape
- The bottoms cover a little bit more than the first pair
- The top and bottoms are lined on the inside
- The top is adjustable
The cons:
- The top runs small
- Bottoms are super cheeky
- The stitching on the top has already started to come apart
This was something that I just had to have. America, REPRESENT!
The pros:
- The quality of the top
- The print
- The top is very flattering on a smaller chest
- Pad inserts are thick but they work
- Removable pad inserts
- You feel secure in it
- Comfortable
- Top and bottom are lined
The cons:
- Everything about the bottoms (Watch the video below for more details)
- Tricky to put on for the first time
- The ties in the back are a little bit too short
- The fabric creates a really thick knot when you tie it up, which can be uncomfortable to lay on
- You’re probably going to get some strange tan lines
