Rakuten, formerly known as Ebates, is a web browser extension, and app, that notifies you when, where, and how much cashback you can get while you shop! Just between us, I’ve already made over $40 in the last few months.
How Rakuten Works
How does Rakuten work? I’m so glad you asked!
Rakuten is an app and Chrome web browser extension that helps you get money back when you make purchases online! Cashback percentages range anywhere from 3-10%, some stores even have double cash-back days.

Once you’re signed up, download the app or the chrome extension. Now it’s time to get shopping. You can either head to the Rakuten website to search stores and their cashback offers, or you can just go directly to your online store of choice and your extension will let you know of any offers! If you decide to purchase from that site, the Rakuten extension will ask you if you’d like to collect cashback. Click the button to say yes and you’re all done!
Every three months, they will send you a check with all of your cash back! What a fun little surprise, right?
